One of the most vital components of any successful newspaper — aside from rampant, conspicuous phone hacking — is choosing the right photo to help tell a story. These newspapers somehow accomplished the exact opposite, pairing serious articles with poorly placed, or just poorly chosen, photographs. It must be kind of embarrassing, but at least they can rest easy knowing Fox News will always be more idiotic on purpose than they are by accident.
