How bad grammar can lead to an erotic misunderstanding.
GRAMMAR

For the grammatically challenged, an "Oxford comma" refers to the last comma in a list of items, and its usefulness is frequently fought over by people whose idea of "fighting" is a series of verbose, strongly worded Internet comments. But this illustration may make the best case for the Oxford comma yet. Because, as you can see, leaving it out can cause serious confusion. Serious, sexual, confusion.

    Anyone who is not an idiot knows that the strippers are not JFK and Stalin. That's sort of the point. The serial comma is for imbeciles.

    I am so freaking glad I finally know what the hell this is called... anyone who doesn't use the oxford comma is retarded (and that includes the majority of my high school English teachers).
    Supposedly it used to be a rule and then at some point they changed it. Why do they do that with grammar rules???

    @joey - it's a reference to a vampire weekend song.

    it also shows how the final two can be grouped. i.e. My favourite yoghurts are blueberry, strawberry and banana. They should allow both forms of sentence structure.

    I always use the Oxford Comma, although I didn't know it was called that. Just the way I was taught. Back when schools did such things.

    Actually, I think the better one is this -
    We invited the strippers: JFK and Stalin.
    So that confusion wouldn't happen for me.
