Hackers give Susan G. Komen website a much more brutally honest mission statement.
HEADLINES

In the wake of the Susan G. Komen foundation's decision to pull funding from Planned Parenthood, it would appear that last night, supporters of Planned Parenthood decided to hack into the Komen website and pull the foundation's mission statement, replacing it with a far more truthful version. When 2012 started, we could not have predicted this would be the year that a breast cancer research foundation would figure out a way to be more hated than a Sarah Palin Super-PAC. Way to keep us on our toes, Susan G. Komen For The Cure!

The vast majority of SGCF's money goes to salaries, administrative costs, and promotional/advertising costs to bring in even more money, and NOT research or cancer screenings.

And considering that they say they did this because it is their rule to not give to orgs that are under federal investigation but they still gave 7.5M to Penn State when they are currently under federal investigation for CHILD RAPE, I call bullcrap on SGKF!

    nah,

The Susan G. Komen Foundation had total assets in 2010 of $458,030,000, slightly less than half that of Planned Parenthood.

If SGK has a budget of only a few hundred thousand, they couldn't've given Penn State a $7.5 MILLION grant or pay their CEO $450+/year.

Funny comment they made, considering I heard that SGK has a budget of a few hundred thousand, whereas PP has a yearly budget of a million...

I was wondering where you determined that the hackers were "supporters of Planned Parenthood" - quite a jump to conclusions there.
