Uncomfortably sexual company logos.
LISTS

A logo is the graphic representation of a brand, but for these companies, "graphic" is an understatement. It's actually pretty remarkable how many of these unsubtle innuendos slipped past the companies who approved them. They clearly need to hire more perverts. Speaking of perverts, if you guys see any more of these raunchy corporate emblems out there, send them our way.

Has anybody else ever noticed the logo for Amtrak's Acela service and Spint's dropping pin logo?

  • Nicole822252 | 10/16/2011 flag  |

Hey Abdelrahman, did you not notice the priest and the child logo?? Nothing here is meant to be offensive to anybody, it's just funny. Some business just really need to get a better graphic designer, haha

  • Saffy | 08/28/2011 flag  |

why can't I post it to my wall on FB?

  • Melinda13697 | 08/16/2011 flag  |

Wow... the one with the Catholic priest is right on target! See, they are flat out owning it! But so funny... Love it! :)

http://mazstudios.blogg.se/2010/december/god-jul-fran-locum.html it's a swedish firm who sent out a christmas email a few years back. Someone decided to be festive and switch the "o" in their logo with a heart.

  • Susan12935 | 08/03/2011 flag  |

I'm embarassed to admit I'd driven by this a number of times before it finally occured to me...umm...these muffler guys are being funny. Unless, of course, they aren't - in which case, it's just funny. http://www.signagepics.com/2011/04/midwest-city-ok-4811-what-clever-little.html

  • Joe | 08/03/2011 flag  |

The "Billy Boy" one is not quite that funny, considering that it's a German condom brand. The little guy is supposed to remind you of a penis...

  • mimimcghee | 08/01/2011 flag  |

I don't get the Olympic one.

  • hp-baxxter | 07/31/2011 flag  |

    haha awesome.
but the "billy boy" energy drink actually doesnt fit....bc billy boy is a huge condom brand in germany and well i think its ok for them to have a dick on their products XDXD

  • Not a country | 07/31/2011 flag  |

Ehhm, 'Lola', 'America' is not a country and anyone that doesn't see it is an idiot. Oh, and you can only burn in hell if you believe in it.

  • F-erenc1 | 07/29/2011 flag  |

Lola. EL OH EL AY Lola. How dare you isolate America as the only land of freedom (you called it immorality). We here in Canada also enjoy being foresaken, as do I'm sure many of my friends around the free world.

And really, do you think there's a shortage in the world of knowing about American culture?

  • don | 07/29/2011 flag  |

Lola look at where most of these signs are from. Most are NOT from America. Maybe you should read before you start typing false ignorant statements.

  • Ferenc Szabo | 07/29/2011 flag  |

It is the height of intolerance and hypocrisy to claim that only the inclusion of the "Islamic Understanding Institute" logo is the one that offends you. Sheesh, it's one of the tame ones, only portraying boobs and a dick. No sexual acts. And just take a look at the entire context: Nobody is targeting any institution, except for graphic artists and their clients who don't get their work checked out first (although at least a couple are sexual on purpose for sure).

  • Fruppi | 07/28/2011 flag  |

The logo for this company: http://www.tchibo.de/

  • TheGirl | 07/28/2011 flag  |

i don't get the sport beans one

  • Johnny | 07/28/2011 flag  |

Some of them are failed submissions. For instance, Billy Boy is a condom brand in Germany, so their logo didn't "slip past" anyone. It is supposed to be a penis wearing a condom. Then they decided to release their own energy drink, end of story.
The one with "the right tools for the right job" is obviously been done like that on purpose. Some others aren't sexual at all, but if they tell you beforehand that the King wear no clothes, you'll see him naked.

  • Heather | 07/28/2011 flag  |

Should probably add Gravity Defyer to this...

  • Pal | 07/22/2011 flag  |

Did anyone see the Motorola logo?

  • kyle | 07/07/2011 flag  |

A giant RAGING penis.....what makes it raging?

  • at | 06/29/2011 flag  |

Someone pointed out elsewhere that the London 2012 Olympic logo looks like Lisa Simpson fellating someone, and indeed I can no longer see it any other way...

Queenofswords - I find your comment very ignorant. Many Muslims I know have excellent senses of humour, are tolerant, appreciate other people's points of view and dislike violence. Some people are corrupted by people in power pushing their own agenda and using religion to do it. It happens with every faith. Comments that suggest all muslims are intolerant religious nutters, who want to kill every non-muslim they meet and that 'we' are far superior is half the reason the extremists can recruit.

  • Britny | 06/06/2011 flag  |

I actually saw the A-Style sign a few years ago when I was in Italy. I can't remember where exactly, but it was in the front window of a clothing and shoe store.

Islam is no different than any other religion..... there are radicals in every religion.... normally we dont judge the entire religion by the way the radicals act.
Imagine if Christianity were to be judged by the lynchings and killings by the KKK..... they used the bible to justify their actions too. Or maybe Christianity should be judged by the abuse of children by Church leaders.... but that wouldnt be right either would it.... Religion is a good thing on a personal level.... but when religious tenets are used to make public policy that is when it gets dangerous.... no matter the religion.

  • Brandi7011 | 05/18/2011 flag  |

I just looked up the Amazon.com logo...love it!! Hahahaha!

  • zzyzx | 05/17/2011 flag  |

How about the logo of US Africa Command (AFRICOM).

  • queenofswords | 05/15/2011 flag  |

I must be dumber than a box of hair, but I have looked everywhere in these comments and can't find Siddag's posts. But I get the gist. I don't want to sound like an ignoramus, because I try to be very open-minded about people's religious beliefs (as long as they don't shove them down my throat), but I have a hard time with Islam. @Jihadbuster had some good points, except that Islam doesn't attract people as much as it seems to brainwash those who are born into it. A Muslim child's tolerance, ability to see others' POV, and sense of humor seem to be stripped away, and instead they are infused with profound self-righteousness and taught violence is an appropriate response in which to defend Islam. It is terribly sad. Look at all the death and destruction these beliefs have caused, both in the Western world and the Arab world. I am a Pagan, and I have dealt with people thinking I worship Satan, eat babies, curse people with magik, etc. for many years. I just laugh, and if the time/place is appropriate and I won't end up sounding preachy, I do some education. Why can't Muslims do that instead of killing people in the name of their religion???
Oh, sorry for the rant. The topic of organized religion, any religion, always gets me going.

  • michael | 05/14/2011 flag  |

What about the amazon.com logo? Does anyone else see a giant raging penis in it?

  • OhSoShameless | 05/12/2011 flag  |

Its okay to be interested in sex, afterall why hide what we have? Flaunt what youve got. Wether its sexual or not our hormones at one point will be going wild in which it may affect the libido which makes you sexually active. I mean, even masturbation can make you feel relieved from stress. I literally think Melvina should go get laid and lighten up. I mean, she evn clicked on this link, clearly knowing it was gonna be something sexual since they mentioned it next to the link. Oh well, everyone has a bit of perviness in them. Some have more than others, some show it in a different way than others. All in all, its OK to be curious bout sex. :)

  • abita185 | 05/12/2011 flag  |

@Melvina everyone looks for sex in everything, except for you maybe.. prolly bc you dont like sex.. but if that's the case you shouldn't have clicked on this link, it's not like it said "cute, cuddly Pandas".

  • Luis | 05/12/2011 flag  |

    seem fake to me

  • Shixa | 05/12/2011 flag  |

No, I will not stop looking for sex in everything.

  • EE138 | 05/12/2011 flag  |

I see the words "group" & "sex" in Melvina's post

  • Melvina | 05/12/2011 flag  |

Um . . . I think a lot of people seem to have sex on the brain. There might be a few overt ones in the group, but reallY? Stop wasting your time looking for sex in everything.

  • not-jose | 05/12/2011 flag  |

@jose ... the bear has cleavage

  • Jose | 05/12/2011 flag  |

I don't get why "TOUS" with the Teddy Bear is sexual. 'Splain to me please.

  • fanboy420 | 05/12/2011 flag  |

@mdebonee...the bean looks like the head of a penis, while the zoom lines look like the shaft...see it now?

  • Marshall | 05/12/2011 flag  |

I should be paid for my sarcasm... i'd make a killing.... my job would be the bomb! It's funny to see how some people just don't get it, they hide away from the logic of some comments, till it hits them between the eyes...
